Whether it's finishing or assembly, Fluid-Air Products Inc. has an efficient, proven and high quality system that goes beyond a single piece of equipment. We have worked closely with leading manufacturers of wood products and material suppliers in developing both manual and automatic systems to handle the materials used in assembling and finishing fine furniture, cabinets, windows and doors.

We offer solutions that handle such materials as high-solids, shear-sensitive waterborne coatings, two component materials, polyesters and hot melts - even PURs. These solutions are designed to match production requirements, finish quality requirements, reliability and value. Our solutions have proven themselves in various plants and our solutions can be integrated with your existing machinery.

Each manufacturer has its own requirements:

Fine furniture and custom cabinet manufacturers require high quality finishes. These finishes, requiring stains, washcoats, sealers, highlights or topcoats, can be applied by air spray, high volume low pressure, airless or air assisted airless systems.
Wood window and door manufacturers use one and two component solvent-borne contact cements, urethane and epoxy adhesives; PVA and contact waterborne glues and PUR, EVA or polyamid hot melts for laminating or assembly and preservatives, primers, stains and topcoats for finishing.

FINE FURNITURE

The key to fine furniture is a quality finish. Our packaged solutions are designed to reliably deliver stains, sealers and topcoats shift after shift. Spray finishing guns are configured for operator convenience, optimum atomization and line speeds.

Choose from many packaged finishing solutions that come complete and ready for work. There is no guessing, no complicated assembly -- just connect the air and fluid lines and you're ready to work. Our products and support services are designed to give your the right product for your production operation and keep it running.

Our solutions can be as simple as a booth side package or a custom designed automatic system to fit your existing production line.

Air Spray. Air spray pumps and guns provide the highest quality finish for equalizing stains and tinted lacquers.

HVLP. High Volume Low Pressure systems are designed for NGR stains, toners and no-wipe stains with less overspray than conventional air spray.

Airless and air-assisted airless. High production spraying for clear coats, glazes, fillers or for high film build are delivered with Graco airless or air assisted system solutions and Fluid-Air Products Inc. engineering assistance to take your project from start to finish.

PROVEN SOLUTIONS FOR WOOD

Stains, primers and topcoats are easily handled with flexible spray equipment. For your convenience, we have 5 gallon (18 liter) pail packages and 55 gallon (200 liter) drum systems in manual or automatic configurations. For two component polyurethane topcoats our proportioners provide consistent mix ratios for more color consistency and higher quality finishes. We work with Graco's pre-engineered solutions that are production line tested and can improve your efficiency and profitability at affordable prices while maintaining or improving finish quality.

SEALING SOLUTIONS

We know that an uninterrupted production line is key to your profitability. Fluid-Air Products Inc. keeps the line moving with highly-reliable and proven hot melt bulk unloading systems, as well as single and dual-component adhesive handling systems. Our systems dispense, on demand, low to high-viscosity materials with minimum bead distortion using a wide variety of nozzles, adapters, extensions and flow brushes to match your bead pattern or shape requirements. We also have equipment to proportion two-component silicone and polysulfide materials.

Conventional. One and two component urethane adhesives and contact cements demand precise control and flow of materials. We can offer solutions that help you in general assembly or laminating tasks.
